Marketing Manager

PBDW Architects, an award-winning 35-person architectural firm in New York City, seeks a highly organized and enterprising Marketing Manager with proven proficiency in graphic design and excellent verbal and writing communication skills. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with the firm's partners, Business Development Manager, Marketing Assistant, and senior staff to support marketing, communications, and business development efforts. The successful candidate will be capable of working proactively on a variety of overlapping tasks in a deadline-driven environment and must be capable of working both independently and within diverse team settings.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Working closely with firm management and senior staff to develop deadline-sensitive deliverables such as proposals, qualifications packages, decks, brochures, newsletters and award submissions.
•    Maintaining marketing calendars and logs, project information database, project sheets, resume and brochure pages
•    Writing and customizing text for submissions and marketing materials
•    Assisting the Business Development Manager with client research and lead-finding
•    Coordinating updates on firm website
•    With the Marketing Assistant, facilitating internal and external communications, including email blasts and social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
•    Proactively providing support for the marketing and business development efforts in the office.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications or related field.
•    Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing for the A/E/C industry.
•    Graphics: High level of graphic design and layout capabilities.
•    Communications: Strong writer, skilled at defining and articulating a message. Excellent verbal communication skills.
•    Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
•    Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
•    Organizational skills: Highly-organized, detail-oriented professional with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Teamwork: The ability to work as part of team as well as independently in a deadline-driven environment.
•    Flexibility and a creative approach to problem solving are essential.

JOB TYPE: Full-time

COMPENSATION: $80,000-$95,000 annual salary depending upon individual's experience.
