PBDW recently completed Phase 1 of the 187-guestroom, 7-floor renovation for the New York Athletic Club’s City House located on Central Park South. NYAC’s City House is home to one of the world’s most renowned social and athletic clubs, and an integral piece of New York history. Over the years, various guestroom floors saw renovations, thus creating a dis-jointed experience. PBDW worked on a master plan to re-position the rooms and created a cohesive design language throughout that clearly speaks to the history, legacy, and tradition of NYAC and invites a distinct and tailored “home away from home” feeling for its vast global membership base.edesign focuses on an elegant and serene guest experience, offering an urban oasis in the heart of New York City.
