PBDW has been working with a music school in New York since 2019 on multiple options for expanding their facilities. As their mission grew to include sponsoring citywide programs, its need for space grew beyond the confines of their current location. Our process began with a discovery phase from which we developed plans that optimized functions in the current location while expanding studios and gathering spaces into the community . Explorations included additions, separate buildings, and test fits of several other local sites, while identifying the code and cost implications for each.
